Synopsis: “Visits of the Spanish royal family to India” is an exhibition of historic photographs about the three visits of the Spanish royal family to India during the last 40 years; the first one in 1974, when the King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofía were “Asturias Princes”; the second in 1982, when they were already monarchs; in 2009 the current “Asturias Princes”, Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia. The exhibition is a compilation of the meetings between the royal family and indian personalities like Indira Gandhi, Sonia and Rajiv Gandhi, and Manmohan Singh including images, most of them unknown by the public, about the tours made during those visits in some of the main tourist and cultural attractions.
Biography: EFE is the first worldwide agency of news in Spanish – and the 4th worldwide after the English Reuters and Associated Press (AP) and the French Agence France Presse (AFP). EFE has more than 70 years of historical service to the Spanish speaking community. The agency has around 2.500 costumers, including main communications media and governments, institutions, companies, universities, embassies and cultural centers of the Spanish speaking community, and thus it has become the most trusted and effective information source for more than 400 million people. Thanks to its over 80 delegations and correspondences around the globe, their international net distributes an average of 600 news articles a day in real time, with diverse contents including journalistic pieces like chronicles and analysis. For the audiovisual part they own a photographic library, considered as the most extensive and varied of the Spanish world.
