Catch LIVE headbanging performance by renowned metalcore band 'Artellerie' at the north zone prelims of WORME Fest 2012. After the huge success in its inaugural edition in 2011, Nokia Lumia WORME FEST is back with a BIG Bang! WORME Fest is a multi-genre music festival spread across west-east-north-south zones of the country. The music fest is targetted to be a platform for independent musicians. Five bands from cities in the Northern Zone will compete for a slot in the finale and only one band will get a chance to be included in the line-up for the Grand Finale at New Delhi on Decemeber 14-15 at Zorba. The following five bands will showcase their talents through the evening and compete for a slot in the finals - Ebonix, The Uncertainity Principle, Bridge to Elsewhere, Rogue Saints and Dementia

WORME (pronounced as WORM), an acronym for World Of Rock Metal Electronica, is an engagement platform for independent musicians across India. Conceptualised and promoted by WonderMind, an Innovations & Marketing Activation Agency based in Delhi, WORME is a hub where artists in the Rock, Blues, Jazz, Fusion, Metal and Electronica genres can interact and share information about what’s going on around them, what are the latest happenings, events and trends that are defining their music scene and who are the ones driving it. The most exceptional thing about the WORME festival is that it cuts across genres and doesn’t represent just one. Artists from different genres of music are all part of it and this helps in providing variety for the discerning audience that have varied tastes. The core objective of this platform is to initiate a movement within the country which is supported by professional artists, sponsors, music labels and music lovers, enabling the next generation of independent musicians to get exposure, opportunities, recognition, growth and appreciation at both national and international levels. One of the first steps taken in that direction was the creation and launch of a national level annual music festival named WORME Festival by which is meant to attract the best upcoming talent from across the country and provide them national level exposure and opportunities to help them pursue their dreams further.
