Event Details : “The voice of the body” Dance performance by Ravi Prasad and Mónica de la Fuente.
An invisible thread weaves two bodies on the stage that vibrate in the same tune. The breathing becomes sound, voice and song, movement, gesture and mudra. It searches deeply for the seed that provokes every emotion and explores the connections between voice and body. The invention of new vocal codes create new contemporary languages, sounds that illustrate every tension or action created by different movements and ways of expressions. Movement flows among classic codes from the scenic arts of India and the spontaneous creation of others. In this space of exploration among the different languages, with sound and movement, connections and unexpected meetings are created, allowing us to taste the richness of each expression and, at the same, discover the paths to the cultural meeting.
