Event Details : Select CITYWALK presents the Epic story of Ramyana with a twist! On the occasion of Diwali, we bring you “The Story of Ram & Sita”
For the first time ever as an English Rock Musical!
Concept: 
The Story of Ram & Sita is an epic we have all grown up with. Ram, the hero, defeats Ravan, the baddie, and rescues Sita, the damsel in distress. 
But, this 2 hour musical is like nothing you’ve ever seen before! Using new-age mediums like videography, 3D projections and shadow puppets; modern salsa dance moves, ballet and Chhau; along with tunes of blues and jazz, the simplest and best way to describe it is as fusion Ramayana – with an added zing!! 

Elements :
Dance: The play is a musical where the story telling happens through music and dance. The dance pieces have been choreographed by Delhi-based French dancer teacher Gilles Chuyen. Music: The entire narration is through music as most of the compositions are based on Western music styles. You will get to hear countless instruments like the violin, saxophone, trumpet, saxophone, string instruments like electric guitar, keyboard, synthesizer, drums and of course the Tabla.
Costumes: The clothes and dresses borrow from various cultures and traditions. So while you will see the traditional dhoti-sari-anga vasthram combination, you will also see cloaks, Greek style flowing gowns, folk dresses (Rajasthani), tribal clothes, etc.
