The festival of Dussera is around the corner, and secretly the city prepares for it months in advance.
If you thought Gangs of Wasseypur was where the real action lay, wait till you see the Raavans of Titarpur, the new home production of 1100 walks.
Our special festival walk takes you to Titarpur in West Delhi, just one of the neighbourhoods where Raavan effigy making is a seasonal industry...
In anticipation of the big day when these effigies symbolising evil will be burnt all over the city, we will see how Raavans are made, chat with the Raavan makers, and hopefully hog on some Dussera special Jalebis as well while we go about this crucial research, another cool new idea from us to
explore the heritage of the city beyond monuments...
