Event Details : “No one writes to the Colonel” film screening.
Synopsis: The colonel waits. He was promised a pension, and for years this promise
has not been kept. Friday after Friday and solemnly dressed, he stands on the dock
waiting for the letter that announces the arrival of his pension.
Everybody in town knows that he is waiting in vain. Even his wife knows this, who
every Friday watches him get ready in front of the mirror to pick up the letter that for
years has been dodging him. But the Colonel shuts his eyes before this evident truth
and holds on to his dream, because if he doesn’t, what else is left?
