Event Details : Flamenco Guitar by Jesús Morente.

Synopsis : Flamenco is a musical genre from Andalucía, in the south of Spain, which includes cante (singing), baile (dancing) and toque (guitar playing). It is a World Heritage and each artist has their own style of playing guitar, always emotive and passionate.

Biography : Jesus Morente was born in Sevilla in 1971. He has during his long career compossed music for lots of choreographies. His guitar sounds powerful but full of sensibility. His style is intimate and reflexive. He uses quiet ways from other musical cultures and bases his touch on rhythm styles, especially for the syncopation.
At the same time, he respects the traditional structures of Flamenco and takes as references Diego del Gastor and Pedro Bacán. He has performed in countries like Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Pakistan and has toured with the Norwegian Concert Institute since 2003.
