Event Details : Delhi International Arts Festival (DIAF) presents Musicorba(Portugal) & Deepak Shah(India):
Musicorba is the new musical project of pianists Ricardo Viera (Portugal) and Tomohiro Hatta (Japan). Following their alliance in 2010, the year in which they both took to the stage to celebrate 150 years of cooperation between the two countries, the pianists continue to immortalise the 'Four Hands Piano' works regarded by many as the best formation in chamber music.
In addition to the classical repertoire, the Luso-Japanese duo takes into account its duty towards promoting a contemporary repertoire as well as music from both their countries.
Deepak Shah : Deepak Shah is a pianist from Bombay. He performs in a truly unique style, playing traditional Indian Classical music on a Grand Piano! His playing style stands out and he is so light fingered, he has applied to the Guinness Book of World Records for the Fastest Pianist in Indian Classical Music.
