Synopsis: This project of dancing conferences is born as a new way to value the Dominican tradition and recognize the African influences in music and dance of the Caribbean, specially the different identities of the “mestizo” (mixed) richness of Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba, Jamaica and Puerto Rico. Brief exhibition of the social history of Caribbean dance and music, with its differences and common heritage in the different rythms.
