Popularly named as Bohemia or Raja, Roger David, 33, is an American of Pakistani origin. He is a Punjabi rapper amd music producer based in California. Bohemia gained popularity in 2003 when his debut album "Vich Pardesan De" (In the Foreign Land) became an instant hit. It reached the Top 10 on BBC Radio 1 in UK. His second album Pesa Nasha Pyar’, became the first full-length Punjabi-rap album released by a major music label. Da Rap Star’, his third album received 4 nominations at the UK Asian music awards and PTC Punjabi music awards, including ‘Best Punjabi Album’ and ‘Best Music Director’. 
His has also signed up a big deal with Universal Music Group Pvt. Ltd., in India. Bohemia has been responsible for bringing Punjabi rap to the mainstream. He is considered to be the pioneer of the new genre of music - the Desi Hip Hop or Desi Rap. 
He entered the Bollywood in 2009 with the title track for Akshay Kumar's Chandi Chowk to China. He wrote and produced the title track all by himself. Recently, he lent his voice for Sanjay Dutt's cameo in the film Desi Boyz. Akshay Kumar also teamed up with Bohemia for a song in his film 8x10 Tasveer.
