Event Details : "Latinamerican music for flute and guitar" music concert by Nathalie Ramírez (flute) & Shyamat Behal (guitar) 
This duo will perform a varied program with music of Latin American composers like Astor Piazzolla, Celso Machado and Ernesto Garcia de León. The program will also include music from the French composers Francis Poulenc and Georges Bizet, and some solo pieces for flute and guitar.

Biographies:
Shyamant Behal (Guitar) began playing classical guitar at the age of fourteen, and performed regularly at that time in concerts organized by the Delhi School of Music. Later he got a scholarship from the French Government to study in Paris where he perfected his skills as a musician with Geneviève Chanut at the École Normale de Musique de Paris. He received a Diplôme d'Éxecution with felicitations from the jury at the end of his studies, and also enrolled at the École Nationale de Musique et de Danse de Cachan, and was awarded a Médaille d'Or upon completing his Diplôme d'Études Musicales. He is a versatile guitar player, and teacher, that has performed in different venues in India and abroad.
Nathalie Ramírez (Traverse flute) came to India after finishing her bachelor degree in Classical Western Music, at the University of Veracruz, in Mexico. At the present time she is studying Hindustani Classical Music, with the ICCR scholarship and the National Fund for Culture and Arts from Mexican Government. Since two years ago she has been under the guidance of Guru Jyotika Dayal for Classical Vocal and Guru Kailash Sharma in Classical Bansuri. She started playing flute at the age of 7, and since then she has performed as a soloist and in ensembles in Mexico, USA and now India, interpreting a wide range of repertoire for flute, principally Latinamerican contemporary composers and Mexican traditional music.
