So get ready to participate in a unique Fundraising Heritage Walk which is a combination of 'History, Photography, Games, Food & Fun' to create awareness and raise funds for a Cause!
Walk for a Cause - Fundraising Heritage Walk Event at Delhi's oldest village, Mehrauli
Imagine an evening heritage walk where apart from exploring nearly 800-year old stories of Delhi’s rich heritage, a professional photographer shares his tips for low-light evening photography, where we play few games that sensitise the participants to the small steps which can bridge the gaps between the 'Haves & Have-nots' of today's Indian society and where all funds raised through the participation fees goes towards supporting one of the largest 'not-for-profit' organisation that is trying to bring a change in the lives of underprivileged children.
Stroll amongst 11th century AD heritage ruins, natural jungle-like vegetation/gardens of Mehrauli Archaelological Park. Walk, Jump, Climb, have fun at this oasis of peace, just 30metres from the busy MG Road, where silence reigns as we narrate tales from the times when the first villages came up here in Delhi till the British Raj made Delhi its capital in 1911. Click pictures of exquisitely decorated mosques, tombs, Baolis (stepwells), residences of a British official of East India Company and the spectacular flora & fauna and re-acquaint yourself with the city you live in! A good opportunity for amateur photographers, heritage buffs and nature lovers of all age groups/children.
So come and join this unique Heritage & Nature walk amidst the relaxing environs of Mehrauli, Delhi’s oldest village/city. Connect with nature, connect with society and your community, connect with your inner self!

Organised jointly by DelhiByFoot(www.facebook.com/Delhibyfoot), Orange Cup Solutions(orangecupsolutions.com) and Oxfam(www.oxfamindia.org) is an unique 'Heritage Walk For A Cause'
