Event Details : 'Walkthrough on Art' art class for thirteen to sixteen year old teenagers and 'Modern & Contemporary Indian art' an exhibition of selection of works featured in Saffronart’s annual Autumn Online Art Auction 2012. 
Have you ever heard a group of young teens discussing art? The curious ones usually ask, “What’s all the fuss about a Husain?”, or “Why did Souza draw those distorted faces?”, Well, here’s hoping their questions can be answered. Introducing the Saffronart ‘Walkthrough on Art’ for thirteen to sixteen year old teenagers! An interactive platform provided for youngsters to engage with the rich history and cultural background of Indian artists practicing in the modern tradition. Here’s a chance for them to have an up-close look at works by some of the biggest names in the art world. Not only will it provide the young adults with a basic understanding of the artworks, but it will also give them a chance to interact with people from the same age group and share each other’s views. The walkthrough will be a Saturday engagement every month and will be addressed by Yamini Telkar, Head Saffronart Gallery, Delhi.
