Verve is a brand new watering hole and one of few mid-size music venues in Delhi. It can be found down a side street opposite OTB and up a few stairs. Stiff Kittens Inc are proud to be presenting some of the most exciting music performers and DJs in India at what will be a regular bi-weekly live night. With this inaugural show we can look forward to at least a semblance of the original spirit of punk rock with two of Delhi's most exuberant and wayward bands taking the stage, followed by a DJ set of 70s and 80s punk, rock and dance delights. Pogo till you drop!

INDIGO CHILDREN is a four piece-piece live group with roots in punk, garage rock and psychedelia. The line up currently consists of Sanchal Malhar, Nikhil Rufus Raj, R.N. Jaidev and Sahil Mendiratta.
The band has been part of the Indian live circuit since 2004; among many notable achievements they won:
Campus Rock Idols in 2005
The Great Indian Rock Festival in 2006
Channel V Launch Pad
Hornbill Rock Contest in Nagaland 2011
They were one of four bands chosen by legendary producer John Leckie as part of British Council's Soundpad. On the back of this they embarked on a two tour of UK including appearances at Brighton's 'Great Escape Festival' and 'The Barfly'. 
Main man Sanchal says 'We make music to shake your body to. We think of it as surf music, or simply , rock n' roll music."

THE VINYL RECORDS is a four-piece all girl band based in New Delhi that came together in 2010. The band was formed by Arunachal Pradesh natives, Banu, Minam and Mithy and were later joined by lead vocalist and keytarist Cheyyrian Bark from Assam in Jan 201. With the line up complete the band quickly went on to perform at a number of festivals and played dates with the likes of Ska Vengers, PCRC and Parikrama. The band also have been featured on MTV F1 Rocks.
TVR describe their sound as "indie rock, post punk and the sound from new wave eras of 70s and 80s when analog and early digital sound was popular". Their influences include B52s, Blondie, The Clash, The Runaways, The Ramones, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, fusing post punk with a dash of glam rock kitsch with the keytar!

FLEXI K is the DJ moniker of cultural provocateur Stefan Kaye. With his forays into ska, jazz, punk and dance bands along with his touring cabaret 'The Medicine Show' and various revues he has established himself as one of Delhi's more versatile and compelling performers. With this evening he goes back to his earlier youth and will be spinning some punky gems for your slam-dancing pleasure!
