Event Details : Stiff Kittens Inc in association with Alliance de Francaise presents Hommage De Serge Gainsbourg. 
A music and dance revue for World Music Day centred around the songs of iconic French composer/singer Serge Gainsbourg.
This Thursday, production company Stiff Kittens Inc, and Blue Frog are collaborating to present a tribute to the infamous French artist as part of the World Music Day celebrations. Twelve musicians, singers and dancers will come together to perform at least 25 of his most well known songs that were originally performed by legendary artists like Briggitte Bardot (who was the inspiration behind Gainsbourg’s “Initials BB”), Francoise Hardy, Jane Birkin, and France Gall.
For those not in the know, Serge Gainsbourg was a French singer, composer and director. Gainsbourg's extremely varied musical style and individuality make him extremely difficult to categorise. His legacy has been firmly established, and he is often regarded as one of the world's most influential popular musicians.
Expect to hear classic songs such as Initials BB, Intoxicated Man, La Javanaise, Laisse Tombeur les Filles, 69 Anee Erotique, Je T’Aime..Mon Non Plus, Lemon Incest, Bonnie and Clyde etc.
