Release Classes with Mandeep Raikhy

Fee: Rs. 2000 for 8 classes / Rs. 350 per class
With a focus on alignment, dynamics and efficiency in movement, this is a release-based technique class
especially designed for advanced level dancers. The class will use core strengthening and improvisation as tools for conditioning the body and exploding into space.
Mandeep Raikhy is a Delhi-based dance artist. He studied at Trinity Laban, London, and has worked as a company dancer at Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company, London.

Contemporary Dance for Beginners with Swati Mohan

Wednesdays & Fridays
6 to 7.30pm
Fee: Rs. 2000 for 8 classes / Rs. 350 per class
The class will explore momentum and gravity as initiators for the body to move in space. Using release, yoga & classical ballet technique as its basis, the class will focus on alignment, lengthening and strengthening of the body to make it more efficient while dancing. The class will include improvisation as a tool to create new movement. Sound, text, energy work through meditation will also be used as starting points for movement work and its connection to the inner self.
Founder director of Danza Performing Arts and alumni of The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy, Swati Mohan is a dance artist trained in contemporary dance, jazz, classical ballet, yoga dance and Bharatanatyam.
