 About ‘Cobbled Street’
Cobbled Street was formed in May 2010, and is a group consisting of 3 vocalists, and 4 instrumentalists.
Gathering influences from varied genres, essentially we believe we sound Jazz+Funk (NOT JAZZ, for those who ask where the Jazz in our music is!). Our music is the result of experimentation and our lyrics are derived from realistic experiences and social issues, among other things.
Having a unique line up consisting of a guitarist who pretty much exploits his processor and then an acoustic guitarist who uses nothing more than a delay on his sound; three dedicated vocalists almost always in harmony; a drummer and bass player who make life very difficult for the others with complex grooves; all of this is a challenge we all really love, and that is what creates the Cobbled Street sound!
