Event Details : The MindCafe is proud to present the eleventh installment of it's "Grand Masters of Comedy" Revolution. With the huge success of the previous ten events, we have decided to go ahead and do another one.
This time we have got three more of Indias' Most Wanted comics, who are ...
1) Abijit Ganguly: Everytime Abijit Ganguly sings 'I'm sexy and I know it' (which he does quite a lot for some reason), some Punjabi guy comes and hits him. He has been trying very hard to shift to political comedy, but has realized he's just not that intelligent or angry with life. Does a lot of sex comedy (which is pretty ironical) and is very well known in the comedy circuit for having absolutely no voice or stand. All that said, he's excruciatingly funny and controversially/arguably/'all similar words'ably one of the funniest Delhi comics. Hear him talk on pigeons, ugliness, media and his Indica car.
2) Vasu Primlani is a celebrated comic, and has been seen on national and international mediaand television including Google video, CBS, KCSM TV, KALW 91.7 FL public radio, Delhi
Doordarshan, SF Bay Guardian, SF Chronicle, KPFA, VOA and the BBC. Vasu Primlani’s standup comedy is based on a scintillating look at life through the environment, based on her work in the United States, inter personal relationships, seeing India through new eyes, gender politics, men vs. women, climate change, environmental
messaging, politics in a social context, a literary look at comedy, and experiences of an immigrant bumping into the culture and the laws of the United States.
3. Maheep Singh: He is an author. Has to come out of
the closet on daily basis (wierd but true). Find out his connection with Monalisa and Olive oil.
