About the Artists:
Arjun Vagale
Ash Roy is one of the founding members of India's most prolific dance music act, Jalebee Cartel. Since its inception, Roy has been providing all vocal and percussive elements during their memorable live performances and has also steadily been creating music to add to the Cartel's cache of original productions. His career has long crossed the decade mark during which Roy's traveled across the continents touring with the band and solo, pre-Jalebee Cartel.
Ashvin Mani Sharma
Calm Chor is the Alter ego of Ashvin Mani Sharma. He has been a part of the Indian underground music scene since 1995, producing music and deejaying since 1998. He is one of the co-founders of Jalebee Cartel, a live electronic music act that has put India on the international EDM map. Apart from touring with the band, he also makes music under the name of Crash & Boom which is a Psy Trance Project with Ash Roy.
BLOT!
BLOT! is a multidisciplinary project helmed by Gaurav Malaker and Avinash Kumar. BLOT! are India’s original and leading audiovisual collective. The duo focusses on creating cross-disciplinary AV content that blends dark, funk-influenced techno with responsive video samples that converge around parody and satire.
Kohra
Kohra is the deep, hypnotic and often grungy mirror image of Madhav Shorey. Raw analog signals and lush soundscapes mixed with percussion sounds and sharp glitches is what can be heard through his mysterious productions. A style that is intelligent enough to mesmerize, yet simple enough to move you.
Vipul
Vipul was heavily influenced by DJs and artists such as Darin Epsilon, Sasha , John Digweed, Robert Babicz, Chris Micall, Audiofly and Tim Davison. Vipul's sets are open to many different styles and genres. He has found himself working mostly in a very funky, tech-house sound that also draws on jackin' and hypnotic elements.
