Event Details : Platform for Action in Creative Theater presents 'The Jungle Wanderweg' English Play. 
This story has been inspired by a famous German folk tale. In the village of Krems near the Black Forest lived a poor miner, Lucas with his devoted wife Julia and his seven children. Ravaged by a devastating illness the miner becomes more and more unable to do any work and Julia feels distraught and decides to cut a pine tree from the magical forest and supplement her income. While setting in this task she is stopped by the king of Elves Gubich who urges her not to cut the trees but pick up the fallen firs being very careful of the little red flower that grows underneath the trees. She heeds to the advice of the great Gubich and to her utter surprise all the cones turn into that of silver. Julia is now a wealthy woman but her troubles are still not over as her husband Lucas shows no signs of recovery. She once again seeks the counsel of the king who reminds her about the tiny red flower and tells her that the cure for her husband lies that in that tiny flowers that she had asked to be careful about. Julia realizes the value of the magical forest and decides to live in complete harmony with the Black forest forever.
