Event Details : Music & Dance Drama : Tagore’s Melodies in Bollywood (60mins), as continuation of Kavi Guru Rabindranath Tagore's 150th birth anniversary celebration, an evening of his melodies and songs in Bengali & Hindi by the troupe, in succession, followed by a Dance Drama Radha Ki Abhilasha (60mins), based on Tagore's Bhanusingher Padavali (the Radha Krishna love lore). The dance drama depicts Radha on her secret love adventure, seeking her beloved Shyam. Fear has no frown for her & she loves taking
risks in her daring pursuits. The choreography is based on Odissi, Manipuri & Bharatnatyam dance forms, presented by Shukla Banerjee, disciple of Dibakar Khuntia, Arup Mitra, disciple of Dibakar Khuntia, Chandra Moitra, disciple of Guru Dibakar Khuntia & Sanjukta Panigrahi in Odissi & Manipuri style & Thankumani Kutty in Bharatnatyam style.
