Event Details : IPROCH(The Institute for Promotion and Research on Odisha Culture and  Heritage) is organizing a three day Delhi Odissi Music Festival, 2012 in collaboration with Directorate of Film Festival (DFF), Ministry of Art & Culture, Govt. of India and Govt. of Odisha.
The event involves seminars and stage shows on Odissi Sangeet to be performed by eminent Gurus of Odissi Music and Dance including stalwarts like Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Sunanda Pattnaik, Padmasree Ranjana Gauhar, Shyamamani Patnaik, Sonal Mansingh and many others. Around 80 artists from Odisha are visiting this 3 days festival and would perform and demonstrate diverse music forms of Odisha like Ravana Chaaya, Pala, Prahalad Natak, Daskathia and Goti Pua among others. A world premiere of a documentary on Odissi Music would be held in this festival. Special attractions include Odia Cuisine, Odia Handicraft and handloom, Odia flavoured Art and Culture stalls.

 DAY-1 :: 27TH April, 2012, Friday

07:00 PM to 08:30 PM-           Performance by Sunanda Pattnaik and Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia
08:30 PM to 09:45 PM-           International Premiere of documentary on Odissi Music.
DAY-2 :: 28TH April, 2012, Saturday
10:00 AM to 12:30 PM -         Seminar on “Classical aspects of Odissi Music” and lecture demonstration by renowned proponents of Odissi Musicians and Odissi Dancers.
12:30 PM to 01:15 PM-           Screening of National Award winning documentary, Nilamadhab by Dilip Pattnaik.
02:00 PM to 03:30 PM-           Ravana Chaaya (Gauranga Dash & His troupe) and Pala (Radhe Shyam Panda & His troupe).
03:30 PM to 9:45 PM-             Odissi Sangeet, demonstrations and performances.
DAY-3 :: 29TH April, 2012, Sunday
10:00 AM to 02:00 PM-          Seminar on Comparison of “Odissi Music” with “Hindusthani” & “Karnatic” Music  and lecture demonstration by renowned proponents of Odissi Music and Odissi Dancers.
12:30 PM to 01:15 PM-           Documentaries on music and dance by Ranjana Gauhar.
02:00 PM to 04:00 PM-           Goti pua (Chittaranjan Mulia & His troupe), Prahalad Natak (B. Khadenga & His troupe), Daskathia (Rama Hari Padhi & His troupe)
04:00 PM to 09:00 PM -          Odissi Sangeet, demonstrations and performances by renowned proponents of Odissi Musicians and Odissi Dancers.
