Event Details : Flow India presents Tour 1 of 4 :  'Contrasting traditions: Indian miniature painting and the landscapes of the European traveller artists' The Story of Indian Modern Art : Baby Friendly Art Tours.
We start with the first of four lectures with the journey by looking at two traditions alive and well in painting in India in the 19th century: miniature painting and landscape painting with oils in order to understanding the contrasts in Western and Indian artistic traditions as they play out over the following century.
