FOOD
North East India consisting of eight States namely Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura and Mizoram is home to over 100 ethnic tribes, sub-tribes and communities– each having its distinct characteristics, traditions and cuisines. Our aim is to bring the delicacies of this region before the people in Delhi - and to provide an exposure of ethnic food and what different tribes, communities from the Northeast have to offer. Termed as Seven Sisters, the region is still unknown to many and our aim is to build a bridge with the rest of India.
Food varies by region due to the ethnic differences among the indigenous inhabitants, traditions and culture.  Indians by nature love food. They are always interested in trying out delicacies from places they are not familiar with. Our attempt is to introduce different kinds of cuisines and visitors can have their tastebuds tickled from these exotic delicacies.
