A piece for 5 dancers exploring their own path, story, aspirations, dreams and experiences in devotion.
This piece is a contemporary exploration of devotion through movement, in collaboration with a sculptor/space designer (Manish Kansara). Visiting spaces of communion of music, dance and soul but also experimenting with Kathak on Bharata Natyam bols or dancing Shiva on Buddhist chants. DEVOTIONs is a creative platform to explore what is beyond dualities, to go beyond boundaries, boundaries between cultures and religions, boundaries between the classical and the contemporary, boundaries between the body and the soul.
