Event Details : This walk takes you to some of the main historic Gurudwaras (sikh shrines) of Delhi. In the process we will learn more about Sikhism, its teachings and tenets and the inspiring lives of some of its Gurus. We will listen to shabad kirtan (Sikh devotional hymns), and enjoy karah prasad (a sweet preparation ) and langar, a community offering of food.

Sis Ganj Gurudwara, the shrine of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the 9th Sikh guru, set in idyllic Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi
Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the shrine of Guru Har Krishan, the 8th guru of the Sikhs, near Connaught Place
Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib

Itinerary & Places Visited
11 am: Collect at Chandni Chowk metro
11 am ‐ 12:30 pm: Walk to Fatehpuri flower shops and Sis Ganj Gurudwara, the shrine of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh guru.
12.30 – 1 pm: Metro ride to Rajeev Chowk Metro Station
1 – 2 pm: Walk to offer prayers at Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the shrine of Guru Har Krishan, the 8th guru of the  Sikhs. Have Langar (community meal).
2‐2.15 pm: Walk to Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib, resting place of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
3 pm: Walk ends at Rakab Ganj Sahib
