Madan Lal’s “New Drawings and Sculptures” : After 7 years Sculptor Madan Lal returns to New Delhi with his new solo exhibition. The sculptures and new drawings unleash a new genre of expressions. The sense of abstraction and chiaroscuro is well formed in the drawings and sculptures. This exhibition of sculptures and drawings will reveal artists synchronized vision for both abstract and sensibility, it intends to show the texture and form of ecstasy in form of Madan Lal’s New Drawings and Sculptures. Sensible black and white drawings generate automatism in the exhibition to attract each heart; similarly sculptural representations framed with the grip makes the beholder to sense the heartbeat of the artist.  Madan Lal’s these creations are the metaphors of his new creative and sensible expressions. MadanLal has come a long way from his earlier sculptures including the acclaimed Jal Nidhi that  were hailed by critics in India and abroad as masterpieces of distinction. In his earlier creations were observed a fusion of the figurative and the abstract, a blend of the earthly and the transcendental. In the present series of paintings, he exhibits an exclusive preoccupation with the purely abstract qualities of form, line, colour and surface. The forms of objective reality are relegated to the background while the formal elements hold the center-stage.
