Event Details : KLOD.B presents Delhi 100 years walk.
this would one of the most historical walks that we have undertaken ...in some time
the 100 year walk on the 11th December to the durbar site
we will walk through the Lok marg ( what was earlier Kings Way) then became the kings way camp marg ...now lok mark
in between we stop over at gandhi ashram - harijan sevak sangh ....and with that energy we move to the bastion of colonial grandeour which shashank report was being furiously renovated for the 100 year nautanki...
yes 100 years ago on the same day the king and queen sat under a golden umbrella on golden thrones and made several declarations which paved way for delhi the way it is ...
Someone suggested elephants for the ride ...if not lets atleasat get some interesting head gears - safas/ pagris / mukut/ ostrich feathers ...something to belong to the royal entourage?
