Event Details : With 2011 coming to a close, Dawn – an exhibition by Pavan and Pankaj Mahatta symbolises hope, optimism and new beginnings. As Elliot famously said – to make an end is to make a beginning.
Dawn is such a cornucopia of photographs which will stimulate within the audience buoyancy for a new day, a new year.
Proprietors at Mahatta & Co and the sons of the quintessential photographer, Madan Mahatta, photography runs in their bloodline and they have both been working in the sector for over two decades. Dawn aims to bring together the individual works of both, essentially signifying an awakening in their careers.
Mahatta and Co. was established in colonial India in the year 1915. In almost a century now, it has not only preserved its industry leadership role as a pioneer of all things photographic in the country but also stayed ahead through innovation, strategic planning and quality customer service. With this history in mind, you are invited to be inspired by the beauty of embarking on a fresh new journey through Dawn.
