Event Details : 'Socio-biology of Hominids' conference In collaboration with Atapuerca Fundation.
It is a conference on studies of the excavations at Atapuerca and about socio-biology of hominids, by researchers from the Centre.
This dialogue between Science and Culture aims to show how the origin of humanity is part of everyday life. Biology is more prevalent than we think in this modern society. Territoriality, hierarchy, leadership are defined in our genes.
A debate between culture and biology can be created. It may be a novel approach to put science and culture face to face, however, it responds to the need for teamwork in order to achieve success through the social brain.
