Event Details : After the great success of their India-Bangladesh tour in 2010, the “Acies Quartett” is back to share more highlights of Western classical music, including works of Mozart, Haydn, Mendelssohn and Beethoven. The four young musicians, playing violin, viola and violoncello, have been awarded many prestigious music awards including the “Austrian Classic Award – Gradus Ad Parnassum” and the “Mozart Award”. In July 2011, the Acies Quartett participated in the prestigious Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition, as one of only 16 young ensembles selected in worldwide auditions.
The concert will be introduced by a performance of the “Mozart Choir of India” children’s choir.
