Kaishiki Arts, Kolkata’s esteemed music academy known for promoting traditional classical music, presents a tribute to late Pandit Bhimsen Joshi and Smt Kamaladevi through – ‘Classical Sangeet & Nritya Sabha 2011’, the top most music festival of Kolkata now in our own Delhi. The music concert organised by Kaishiki Arts and Research Centre will be promoting the next generation of classical vocalists and musicians through a platform that is both elevating and dignified
Kaishiki Arts has been working on promoting budding talents providing them the much needed inspiration and impetus through such special events thereby also actively preserving the rich cultural heritage of our country.
The two day festival enthralling music lovers across the capital will have performances by Mom Ganguly (Mohiniyattam), Pt. Rupak Kulkarni (Flute), Pt. Hindole Majumdar (tabla), Pt. Somnath Roy (Ghatam), Rahul Sharma (Santoor), Grammy Award winner - Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt (Mohan Veena), Centre For Mohiniyattam (Padmasree Guru Smt. Bharati Shivaji)
