The elegance and grace of their performances have gained appreciation and approbation from many promoters. The academy has won the over all 1st place in International & All India woman's Dance Competition in Shimla - 2010 and 1st Place in Udbhav International Dance Carnival - Gwalior - 2010
Performance of Sri Lanka folk dance traditions to international arenas will be very rewarding and the participants also receives tremendous exposure wile participating. Needless to state that such participation alone will strength their confidence and moral attitude. More ever such cultural activities by sri lankan as it would promote the image of the country and promote the tourism.
Besides, this will enhance the people to people connectivity which has been a major aspect in global cooperation.

Bakhtiarian tribe are located in center of Iran in Bakhtiari state which is in border with Shiraz and
Yasuj ,beautiful historical cities in center of Iran as our group would love to collect and research
beautiful and virginal songs of these tribes.

Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan
Shafqat Ali Khan is a Ghazal singer.The youngest son of Salamat Ali Khan,Shafqat Ali Khan is a master of the Ghazal tradition of Indian classical music. Performing from the age of seven, when he appeared at the Lahore Music Festival, Khan has continued to attract attention with his soulful singing. Khan has received numerous awards including the Amir Khusro Award, as "best classical singer", in 1986, a gold medal from Fairslabad University in 1987 and a Ghande Award from New Delhi University in 1995.Khan performed at the Folklife Festival of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. in 1988 and 1996 His family represents a 500 year lineage of musicians of the Shamcharasi Gharana, descendants of two famed court musicians to the artistically-devoted Akbar the Great: Chand Khan and Suraj Khan.
