Synopsis: Produced between the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Arts and Industry (ICAIC) and the Cuban Institute of Music (ICM), written and directed by Lourdes de los Santos, "Son para un sonero" aproaches the career and life of Adalberto Alvarez, one of the key figures in Cuban popular music. It is widely known within and outside the country, while it investigates the current situation of the sound as a gender and its future prospects.
