Get ready to be floored on the tunes of British Electronic Dance Music duo Basement Jaxx as the duo takes on the lead with his most contemporary musical journey. They collected their first Grammy for “Best Electronic Album” to add to the two BRIT’s (Best Dance Act) and numerous other awards already on the shelf.
With album sales of more than 3 million under their belt including their legendary debut album “Remedy”. 2006 saw the first Jaxx UK arena tour, selling over 55,000 tickets across the UK in support of the album “Crazy Itch Radio”. Plans for 2011 include a unique collaboration with the Metropole Orkest which has it’s UK debut at the Barbican in London in June and the first Basement Jaxx movie soundtrack, for Joe Cornish’s “Attack The Block”, as well as working on new material for release later this year.
