Formed in 2002, Barefaced Liar is an amalgamation of the distinct and eclectic musical taste of its members. This combination of influences backed by a loaded blues driven guitar style that developed over the years lead to a unique east-west dynamic that has translated into complete and relevant songwriting on an international level. Over the past few years, the band has recorded a number of demos in studios in Delhi and Bombay.

Tracks such as the all powerful “Out of my League”, the ethereal “Carnation”, the drum ‘n bass-hard rock mix of “Tether”, and the esoteric “Incline” and many other songs that were born out of these trips to the studios showcase the chemistry of the band. In 2007, the band’s drummer Tushar Vig left the band to pursue his studies. The vacancy was then filled by Nikhil Vasudevan, who joined the band in late 2007. With a twin guitar offensive, haunting basslines, thumping rhythms and memorable songs- Barefaced Liar is all set to impress in a live setting.
