SPANDAN- IP University’s biggest media fest is back. This media fest of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (affiliated institute of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) is most awaited fest of the city.
Continuing with the tradition of providing an academically and culturally stimulating atmosphere, the four day will offer competitions and events in various categories like Arts, Literature, Dance and Theatre, etc. It is a festival that encompasses the creativity, vivacity and enthusiasm of youth.
SPANDAN 2011 is expected to have a participation of more than 5000 students from various universities of the capital (including Delhi University) .The media and cultural event will witness the presence of various eminent personalities from different walks of life.
The stage will be set on fire. Blood- tingling and breathtaking performances of Rock bands and live DJ will make you jump out of your seats. So get rough and ready to celebrate life, feel the adrenaline rush and uncover yourself at SPANDAN 2011
Beautiful 5 acre campus at Pitampura will host the inauguration ceremony with senior media professionals discussing major issues with youth of the nation in its unique inaugural event ‘Media Panchayat’. Alike last year Dilli Haat is decided to be the venue for the major part of event. Dilli Haat is a place that drives you to the magical world of Indian art and heritage presented through a fascinating panorama of craft, cuisine and cultural activities. Spandan unarguably has been able to present flavor of 'fun and vigor' amalgamate with music, dance and art.
The mission : The mssion of Spandan 2011 is to bring together the best student talent from across the country in fields of music, dance, dramatics, debating, fine arts, quiz, films, photography and other areas of art and culture. Spandan 2011 will provide platform for students to showcase their talents in front of masses.
Spandan 2011 aims to further promote and encourage artistic endeavors and education in the capital through a series of awesome events.
