Event Details : Ray-Ban’s authenticity takes center stage once again!!! presenting Ray-Ban Never Hide Sound.
In the first elimination round, 15 bands will be shortlisted by a team of Rolling Stone India editors based on the quality of their demos. The demo tapes of the shortlisted bands along with the band profiles will then be uploaded on the website www.ray-ban.com/india/neverhide-sounds. In the second round, the shortlist will be whittled down to five bands in a two-way judging process involving an online poll open to the general public and a jury selection process involving leading musicians and executives from the music industry. Equal point’s weightage will be given to both, the online poll and the jury vote. Points will also be given for presentation and style. The participating artistes will be required to express themselves with authenticity and coolness, their unique, inimitable personality that perfectly matches the independent, iconoclastic spirit of Ray-Ban.
The five winners of this judging process will be flown to Mumbai for the Ray-Ban Never Hide Sounds Grand Finale concert in Mumbai on 4th December, 2011. They will share the stage with Pentagram and Something Relevant, two of India’s hottest bands. Each winner will also receive musical instruments and gear worth Rs. 50,000, courtesy of Ray-Ban.
