Event Details : On the occasion of "Cuadernos de Viaje (Travelogue)" exhibition of drawings & collages by Isabel Herguera at Instituto Cervantes, 48, Hanuman Road, CP > 11am-7pm on 29th October 2011 onwards the musician Xabier Erkizia will offer as a macro and microscopic return journey to a cold and detailed virtual world of sound, precisely extracted from the same process that makes it possible.
Xabier Erkizia (Lesaka, 1975) is a musician, a producer and journalist. His works is based on a research among different people, rounds and formats, in different situations such as sound installations, recordings and musical compositions, radio plays, group projects or collective improvisation… Since 2000, he co-directs the annual festival of other music ERTZ and the sound Department AUDIOLAB of the Contemporary Art Centre Arteleku of Donostia-San Sebastián.
