Blackstratblues is the solo project of Warren Mendonsa, who is a guitarist, songwriter, Producer and recording engineer. From being a part of the super popular Rock act Zero to having worked with Bollywood stalwarts like Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Vishal Shekhar, Tough on Tobacco, Soulmate and HFT, Warren has done it all. He has released 2 albums with Blackstratblues called “Nights in Shining Karma” (2007) and “The New Album” (2009) And both the albums have been received with critical acclaim.
Achievements:  He is known for his instantly recognizable, distinctive guitar sound & playing, incorporating immaculate phrasing and abandoning traditional, flashy "guitar hero" techniques, in favour of composing memorable melodies and playing with feel.
