A collection of six short pieces including Seduction, in which a talented bachelor shares his formula to win over the hearts of married women. Porcelain and Pink, about a bath with thoroughfare. The Still Alarm, in which a hotel is burning down, and two guests decide to have visitors. The Open Door, in which two people
finally come face to face with forbidden feelings. A Separate Peace, in which a man checks into a hospital and refuses to leave, and A Defenceless Creature, in which a troubled woman with weak ankles brings a bank to it's knees.
