Event Details : Jodo Gyan presents Early Learners Programme
Theme: An exhibition of children’s books and learning toys for early years. Through this programme we are bringing together a collection of Learning manipulatives and other Teaching Learning Resources. We are also displaying a unique collection of Children’s Books from Indian publishers which includes picture books, bilingual books, multicultural books, stories translated from almost all the states of our country.

Some details about the programme:
We are a non profit social enterprise working in the area of education from past 12 years. This programme will have a special focus on mathematics for early years and addressing educators and parents involved with the Early Learners in the age group 3 to 6 years. Through this programme we hope to bring together a collection of Teaching Learning Materials, Learning Toys and Children’s books (Indian Publications) that can help the very young child.
There will be a large number of collections of various types of learning materials selectively chosen from different NGOs and few private organisations from all over the country.
These learning resources have been specially selected keeping in mind their appropriateness as well as educational value. Some of them allow a wide scope for the imagination while supporting fine motor development. Others develop spatial skills and challenge the budding logic. A range of games combine the magic of stories with the development of number sense.
Children Books have been carefully selected to support the culture of reading keeping in mind the special requirements of young children and the context of our Indian environment. Among them, the no-word books present a foundation for reading with comprehension. These books start children off on looking for meaning between the pages of a book.
