A novelist abandoned her career as a writer to trace a real story that happened in the last days of the

Civil War: the falangist writer Rafael Sánchez Mazas was shoot with other fifty prisoners. He managed

to escape to the forest and hide under the rain. Apparently he was found by a soldier who let him get

away. The writer will put together the pieces of this story which is riddled with contradictions and enigmatic

characters.
