Event Details : The Instituto Cervantes of New Delhi and the Embassy of Peru in India cordially invite you to the première of the exhibition “100 Years of Machu Picchu to the World”
Peru is celebrating 100 years of the discovery of Machu Picchu to the world in 1911 by the American explorer, Hiram Bingham. This sacred Inca city built at the top of a granite mountain represents one of the most extraordinary examples of scenic architecture and engineering technique ever built. It was elected one of the new seven wonders of the world in 2007.
