Hundred octane is an Alternative / Progressive Hard Rock / Experimental band from Delhi, formed in 1993 by a group of like minded musicians to seek fulfillment that ever eludes the creative being.The bands evolution and its exploration of untried territories has continued eversince.

Hundred octane’s in your face attitude conjured up by the playing of rock,thrash,grunge and metal in a furious frenzy is what made it relevant in the country’s rock circuit.The band now has performed many a dozen gigs all over the country under major sponsors and labels like Pepsi,Coca-cola,Suzuki and Times music etc.Besides being featured by india’s leading newspapers,magazines and tv stations,the band is also known to attract huge crowds and a trememdous response.

From the 60’s contemporary rock to the metal underground,from the likes of Uriah Heep and jUdas priest to aerosmith and Metallica,hundred Octane’s sonic influences are several and varied. This is a band that draws influences from Purple, Floyd, Cornell, Maiden, Pearl Jam, Manowar, Hetfield and yet remains uniquely spectacular.
