Event Details : CARPE DIEM! is a theme based group exhibition showcasing paintings and sculptures by contemporary artists.
The concept behind the show Carpe Diem is a frequently used aphorysm that roughly translates to' Seize the Moment' It has been taken from Horace’s Latin poem, which goes on to say - “Seize the Day, putting as little trust as possible in the future".
A carefully selected group of young artists have contributed with recent works. Most of these works have been specially created for this show. The art works exude vibrancy, energy and colour, yet they make a statement or put across a question which is relevant to our times.
The Participating artists are: Gurdeep Singh, Lal Bahadur Singh, Meena Sansanwal, Mohammed Osman, Ompal Sansanwal, Pradiptaa Chakraborty, Pradeep Puthoor, Puja Bahri, Rajiba Lochan Pani, Ritu Kamath, S. Bharat Yadav, Shivaramachary Y, Satadru Sovan Banduri, Siddharth Choudhary, Trishla Jain & Veejayant Dash.
