And it is this language that brought ‘Rishi Inc.’ to life. Rishi, Santa, Tarit and Ritesh – four fellows who could hear nothing but the sound of music and speak nothing but the language of melody – were brought together by their love for music.It all began not more than a year ago… Rishi and his friends were four wandering souls! Their love and passion for music tied them to each other and the outcome that we have today is ‘Rishi Inc.’ - a ‘rhythm’ emerging from a perfect harmony between a man and his soul.

India has a lot to give to the world, even if it is her music! And this is exactly what ‘Rishi Inc.’ believes in; nurturing the true beauty of India and presenting it to the world in an all new different style.Recognizing the soul of India and then beautifully fuse it with the strings of the ‘jazz’, that is what ‘Rishi Inc.’ is all about.

About Astitva:

Astitva is a multi genre Hindi band, based in New Delhi, India. The Name has been derived from a Astitva (Devnagari) a Sanskrit word meaning identity. The Simple definition of Astitva is Existence.

The Band ”Astitva” insists on setting feelings above mere technique and creating an individualistic genre of mold breaking music. Above everything else Astitva stylistically different, born out of diverse western pop/rock and Hindustani Classical influences. Astitva started in 2007 to give birth to a serious cutting edge band, blending deeply meditative ragas with rock and jazz with a hint of Urdu Poetry. The compositions of Astitva are composed in such a way that a common man can relate to.
