Event Details : Pandit Chaturlal Memorial Society presents 'Shradhanjali' Indian Classical music festival on the occasion of 85th Birth anniversary of first internationally acclaimed Tabla stalwart Pandit Chatur lal who paved the way for Indian musicians in the Western world along with Pandit Ravi Shankar ji and Late Ustad Ali Akbar Khan.
On the occasion of his 85th Birth Anniversary, when we have achieved with our motto of making him eternal in form of museum “Taa-Dhaa” and road “Pandit Chatur Lal Road” (inaugurated on 16th April, 2011 sanctioned by the Government of India in South Extension-II) named after him and this concert series would be concluding by reviving “PANDIT CHATURLAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS” which was felicitated in his honour by Mr. and Mrs. Chester Bowles in association with American Embassy l which was carried on by Mr. & Mrs. John Kenneth Galibraith after his sudden demise in 1965.
