Event Details : Punjabi Academy presents 'Buhe Barian' Punjabi Play.
Based on contemporary Punjabi short stories. Imbued with an overt streak of insults and injustices (in Ajit Kaur’s Maami or Duggal’s Pakistan Humara Hai) or a covert representation of the blistered life of many a discriminated woman (in Amrita Pritam’s Kori Haandi) or the humorous reassertion of female strength in Phirangan Di Nooh by Ena Verma, this montage by M. K. Raina runs through time and captures the travails of reality.
