Event Details : Instituto Cervantes de Nueva Delhi in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain in India  cordially invites you to the presentation of the book 'India from within : A Guide to India’s History, Religion, Arts, Culture and Society (Jose J. de Olañeta, Indica Books)' by Álvaro Enterría
Taking advantage of his deep knowledge of the country in its theoretical as well as practical aspects, and of his experience of daily life in Indian society, Alvaro Enterria has written the book India from Within: A Guide to India’s History, Religion, Arts, Culture and Society (first published in Spanish as La India por dentro, 2003). In this book he expounds the foundations and roots of Indian civilization, and he explains in a clear language the functioning of its society. This book tries to answer with depth the myriad questions that come to the minds of tourists and travellers, who find themselves suddenly submerged in a motley and complex world whose codes they cannot grasp.
